BTS Drops New Comeback Poster for 'Love Yourself'

BTS

K-Pop group BTS sent their fans into a frenzy when they uploaded a new teaser image to their social media on Thursday morning (August 10).

In a theatrical poster-style photo labeled 'Love Yourself,' BTS member Jungkook is seen sitting in a wheelchair holding a small flower. The Korean script above him reads, "The day when you want to run towards where your heart is headed."

According to an official statement from BigHit Entertainment, 'Love Yourself' is a "new concept" that will continue throughout the rest of 2017 and 2018 with new music that is scheduled for release in September. The record label also mentions that the series will be "a continuation of past concepts" including The Most Beautiful Moment in Life and WINGS.

Less than an hour after the poster was uploaded, #LOVE_YOURSELF became the number one worldwide trend on Twitter.

If the phrase "love yourself" rings a bell, you'll remember that leader Rap Monster said this in his speech when the band accepted the award for 'Top Social Artist' at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards. And if you're looking for more hints, you won't have to look too far.

"The poster is really a teaser for the concept of the 'Love Yourself' series which is filled with clues as to what is to come next," says BigHit Entertainment. "BTS is always wanting to keep their fans guessing and excited as the concept is rolled out."
