RuPaul To Judge New CBS Talent Competition 'The World's Best'

RuPaul is heading to CBS to deliver critiques alongside another panel of judges, as per a recent announcement regarding the network's new global talent competition, "The World's Best."

As per a new announcement from the network, the series will feature contestants from all around the globe as they vie to show off their talents. They'll be faced with the star-studded panel, which includes the VH1 drag superstar, Late Late Show host James Corden, Drew Barrymore, and Faith Hill. Once they're done with the panel, the contestants will have to break through the "wall of the world" panel, which consist of 50 of the globe's most accomplished experts from every field of entertainment.

"It's only fitting that 'The World's Best' perform in front of the world's best," said Sharon Vuong, CBS' SVP of Alternative Programming, said in a statement. "James, Drew, Faith, and RuPaul are all amazing talents who have excelled in their respective fields on a global scale. We can’t wait for them to bring their distinct voices to a show that's unlike any other."

While the show won't premiere until 2019, it does have the likes of Mark Burnett and Mike Darnell producing the program, so it's bound to be an entertaining watch. Burnett is executive producing NBC's The Voice, while Darnell developed and launched American Idol during its first 12 seasons.
