The record will release digitally on Tuesday (October 23) via Big Hit Entertainment, the same company that manages the South Korean boy band.

According to the tweet, the 24-year-old's sophomore solo effort will include collaborations with Korean indie rock band NELL and a track produced by English electronic duo HONNE.

mono comes three years after the artist, formerly known as Rap Monster, dropped his self-titled mixtape in March 2015. The effort dealt chiefly on finding happiness and the pressures of coming of age and be named one of the 50 best hip-hop albums of 2015. He first teased his follow-up on RM's third anniversary in March.

Aside from his solo ventures, RM is credited as one of BTS' main songwriters and music producers, having written more than 100 tunes, per reports from the Korea Music Copyright Association.

Currently, RM and his fellow bandmates are touring across the world during their "Love Yourself" world tour, which culminates in Paris, France tonight.
