The Entire Royal Family Shines In Brand New Portraits

Hear ye! Hear ye! Clarence House has released two brand new portraits of the royal family to celebrate Prince Charles's 70th birthday. The new family photos were taken in the gardens of Clarence House by photographer Chris Jackson, according to People. The bright, gorgeous portraits show Charles with his growing family, including his youngest grandson Prince Louis and his new daughter-in-law Meghan Markle

While the first photo is a bit more traditional, Clarence House shared a second portrait that shows the royals more candid than ever. Meghan and Prince George can be seen laughing in the shot, while Princess Charlotte gives Duchess Camilla a little cuddle.

These photos are also some of the only official photos of Prince Louis the royal family has released since his birth in April. Another sweet shot of Kate Middleton, Prince Charles, and baby Louis was released shortly after the documentary Prince, Son, and Heir: Charles at 70, which shows Charles playing with his grandson on this same day. If the Royals are anything like us, it's definitely their choice to get as many family photos done in one day.

Hopefully, they'll all get together a year from now to take an updated family photo. They'll have a new family member by then, after all. Prince Harry and Meghan are expecting their first child together, due sometime in the spring of 2019.
