Based on the incredibly popular Marvel Studios series of films, "Guardians Of The Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind" will open for riders officially on May 27 at Epcot, just in time for the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
Part of Epcot's transformation at Walt Disney World, this long-anticipated attraction will use first-of-its-kind special effects and ride vehicles to blast riders through the also first-ever backward launch in a Disney Park! The ride replaces the "Universe Of Energy with Ellen Degeneres" attraction that ran at the park for over a decade. Epcot has been going through a massive reimagining and this ride is the latest part of that.
Disney Parks has released an awesome trailer of this exciting attraction that features the original cast of "Guardians of the Galaxy" including Chris Pratt, Bradley Cooper, Dave Bautista, and Zoe Saldana. This will be the second "Guardians" attraction to open in the United States, after "Guardians Of The Galaxy: Mission Breakout" at Disney's California Adventure park in 2017.
