The Cracker Barrel in Dickson, TN was approved for an on-premises beer permit by the city beer board as part of the company's test of offering alcoholic beverages!
According to Cracker Barrel's media relations team, the Dickson Cracker Barrel Old Country Store will be the 20th store in the chain to test out alcoholic beverages, which will include:
- Beer
- Wine
- Orange & Strawberry Mimosas
In the company's press release, they stated that their nationwide implementation timeline varies because it is based on the state and local license and permitting process.
Cracker Barrel continued their statement on offering alcoholic beverages by stating:
Thus far, we found the majority of our guests have a strong interest in alcoholic options which allow for more variety, increase the enjoyment of their visits, and enhance celebrations and special occasions. Cracker Barrel is always considering potential ways we can offer our guests new options. We conduct many different kinds of tests in our stores each year as part of our rigorous product development process. Part of this process includes extensive guest research to understand their preferences and interests.
