Dr. Dre was a proud daddy this weekend, posting a pic of him and his daughter after finding out she was accepted into USC. He even threw in a swipe at those ousted in Operation Varsity Blues by including "no jail time!!" in the caption. He was so proud, in fact, that he ended up forgetting about that time he helped donate $70 million to that same school years ago. Luckily social media won't ever let us forget anything, and he was quickly reminded before deleting said post.
Do I feel his daughter got in solely because of his generous donation? Probably not. It certainly didn't hurt. While I do find it unfortunate that a lot of people will probably be questioned moving forward on whether or not they accomplished certain things on their own merit alone, I would caution that you should probably set a reminder of who and what you've donated to before running your mouth on the unforgiving beast that is social media.
