Harry Styles caught wind of Candace Owens' controversial take on his wardrobe for the December issue of Vogue and posted a clever clapback.
Weeks after Owens shared some eye-rolling comments about Styles promoting "the steady feminization of our men," the former One Direction bandmate, 26, took to Instagram to share another stylish shot of him from the shoot in a baby blue ensemble. "Bring back manly men," he captioned the shot of him eating a banana, quoting Candace's very own words.
Owens became the target of many of Styles’ fans when she criticized Styles over his gender-bending style. "There is no society that can survive without strong men. The East knows this. In the west, the steady feminization of our men at the same time that Marxism is being taught to our children is not a coincidence,” she wrote on Twitter, calling the photo of him wearing a Gucci ball gown "an outright attack." "Bring back manly men."
Days after the controversy, Styles' fashion made waves once again with his installment of Gucci’s GucciFest film festival. In a 10-minute short called "At the Post Office," Styles was seen as one of many "well-dressed individuals" in a pink Gucci T-shirt, blue jorts, black loafers and high white socks.
