An Ohio man was arrested for trying to burn down a church that was going to host drag shows. The 20-year-old allegedly threw Molotov cocktails at the church and is a member of the Ohio chapter of “White Lives Matter”. He tells the FBI that he was there to “protect” children from drag queens. He remains in custody.
An increase of threats against schools via email spurred by the Libs of TikTok twitter account have caused schools to be evacuated and an Iowa City school removing a book that was specifically called out by the account for promoting an LGBTQ+ agenda.
Speaking of Twitter, Newsweek is reporting that Twitter has begun censoring LGBTQ+ content. According to the article, transgender groups first noticed that certain words would not display in the preview pane of a direct message. The terms they noticed included “trans”, “LGBT” and “BLM.” Another group discovered that while the word “gay” would also not appear, the homophobic slur that starts with F does.
