Florida Governor Ron DeSantis continues to attack Disney over their statements denouncing his Don’t Say Gay Law now threatening to redevelop some of the land within Disney’s district as a potential state prison. He’s also promising a new law requiring state ride inspections that would only specifically target Walt Disney World’s theme parks. It would not target Universal, Sea World, or other theme parks in Central Florida.
Children’s Author Judy Blume, after being wrongfully quoted as in 100% support of JK Rowling has unequivocally stated that she “wholly supports the trans community” and explained that her quote was taken out of context. She continued “I stand with the trans community and vehemently disagree with anyone who does not fully support LGTBQIA+ people.”
