The expansion of Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” law has passed the Florida legislature and is now on its way to the governor’s desk for signature. This bill expands the current restrictions to cover grades all the way through 12th grade, even covering students who would be 18 and legally adults, although they may still be in the public school system. The bill restricts the discussion of LGBTQ+ persons and relationships across the board.
