Target Beats Earnings Estimates For The First Time In A Year

Target continues to move more Pride displays in more states to the back of the store after conservative activists threatened store employees with violence over select clothing items designed for trans people and trans allies alike. Target’s stock has taken a $9.3 billion dollar hit since they decided to remove items and move the displays that have been in place for more than a decade. Some conservative personalities are asking their followers to double down because this pressure campaign appeared to give them a win.

Organizers of the Come Out With Pride Orlando Parade and Festival have said that the Pride festival will go on as planned this October despite new state laws that have aimed to chill drag performances, particularly those visible by persons under 18 years old. Come Out With Pride Orlando is scheduled for October 21st.

In Mississippi, an openly transgender girl that asked a U.S. District Judge to allow her to wear clothes that matched her identified gender decided not to participate in her high school graduation. The judge had ruled that she would need to dress in clothes that matched her biological sex at birth if she wished to attend.
