The Temecula Valley School Board voted 3-2 to reject an elementary social studies book because it contained information about Harvey Milk. The president of the school board called Harvey Milk a “pedophile” before voting. Governor Gavin Newsom was quick to condemn the school board president and promises to investigate.
A hearing date has been set in the ninth circuit court for Walt Disney World’s lawsuit against the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District – the district created by Ron DeSantis designed to punish Disney by taking away their power for speaking out against his “Don’t Say Gay” bill. The hearing is set for July 14th at 2pm via Zoom.
Florida freshman congressman Maxwell Frost joined Hayley Williams and Paramore on stage Friday to denounce Governor DeSantis with an expletive-laden speech. Williams has already been politically outspoken saying if her fans vote for DeSantis, they are dead to her. Frost then joined the band in a performance of their hit “Misery Business”.
