Ricky Martin and his husband Jwan Yosef have announced they are divorcing. In a message posted to Ricky’s Instagram account, they couple said “For some time, we have considered transforming our relationship, and it is after careful consideration that we have decided to end our marriage with love respect and dignity for our children.” They had been married for six years.
The newly re-elected Prime Minister of Greece has told Bloomberg that his plans include legalizing same-sex marriage in the country saying, “Greek society is much more ready and mature”. Greece currently recognizes same-sex unions, but not full marriage.
Hoping to jump in the space created by rate-limited and problem-plagued Twitter, Meta launched their text-based app Threads to early indications of massive success with more than 30 million new accounts in the first 12 hours alone.
