A judge in Florida has recommended that The New Orleans House clothing-optional resort for men in Key West not be allowed to ban women from staying there or accessing the nude areas. The hotel policy requires guests to be ‘adult males 18 years of age or over”. The final decision will be made by the Florida Commission on Human Relations. The case was brought by the same woman who filed a discrimination complaint against Island House Key West, another all-male clothing optional resort, even though they rent rooms to women in an adjacent facility.
Nepal has legalized same-sex marriage in an historic move as the first country in South Asia to do so. A Supreme Court judge ordered the government to start registering couples for same-sex and non-traditional heterosexual marriages. The move came after activists filed a petition to enforce a ruling from 2007 that left lawmakers slow-walking the change.
