Shiloh Jolie-Pitt turned 18-years-old on Monday (May 27), and decided to celebrate another trip around the sun by changing her name.

According to Page Six, the teen, daughter to silver screen icons Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, decided to drop part of her last name upon entering adulthood. Shiloh filed legal paperwork on her birthday to remove "Pitt" from her name entirely.

Shiloh's request for a name change has yet to be approved, but it seems she's not the only one of Pitt and Jolie's children dropping the latter half of their surnames. Just last week, the former couple's 15-year-old daughter Vivienne took part in a play and listed her name as "Vivienne Jolie" on the playbill.

Pitt and Jolie's eldest daughter, Zahara, was the first one of her sisters to introduce herself with just her mother's maiden name six months ago in what Page Six referred to as an "apparent Brad Pitt diss."

Aside from the exes daughters, their eldest son, Maddox, 22, revealed that he “doesn’t use Pitt as his last name on documents that aren’t legal and instead uses Jolie,” and hasn't since 2021 (per US Weekly) despite disapproval from his mother at the time.

Pitt and Jolie split in 2016, and, upon filing for divorce, Jolie requested full custody of the pair's five children Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, Knox, 15, and Vivienne,15. While Shiloh has yet to make it clear if the name change was done to distance herself from her father, Pax has been very open about his relationship with Pitt in the past, referring to the "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" actor as a “world class a–hole” in a 2020 Father's Day post.
