Fans of *NSYNC are reportedly one step closer to a reunion.
According to TMZ, four of the group's original members — Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick — are allegedly in talks about reuniting ahead of their 30th anniversary, including a possible arena tour even if fifth member Justin Timberlake does not participate; though his bandmates are "hopeful" he would be involved.
The group was reportedly previously approached about a stadium tour deal for next year, but Timberlake "never engaged" in the talks, TMZ reports. The "SexyBack" singer, who wrapped up his Forget Tomorrow World Tour this summer, recently revealed his Lyme disease diagnosis and the struggles surrounding his health.
Fans have been begging for an *NSYNC reunion since the group dropped their last album two decades ago, and they have each teased the possibility in recent years. They even joined back together for their first new music in 20 years for a song on the Trolls Band Together soundtrack as well as the song "Paradise" on Timberlake's 2024 album Everything I Thought It Was.
In May, Fatone addressed the "big question [of] is *NSYNC ever getting back together" and explained what really needs to happen for the group to finally have its long-awaited reunion.
