Imagine waking up inside a body bag, that's exactly what happened to a Paraguayan woman who went to the doctor due to elevated blood pressure. Gladys Rodríguez Duarte was transported from a San Fernando Clinic, where she was declared dead, to a local funeral home. Duarte’s death was confirmed by Dr Heriberto Vera two hours after she was admitted. Durate’s husband and daughter were advised of her death and Mr Duarte says that his wife’s naked body was handed to him “like an animal with her death certificate. He didn’t even revive her,” he says. Staff at the funeral home found Mrs Duate’s body moving inside of the body bag, she was then transported to Paraguay’s Social Welfare Institute where she was put under observation, her current condition isn’t known.
This reminds me of our misdiagnosis with our pregnancy. The doctor said we miscarried and that was not true.
