President Trump Will Sign Executive Order on Social Media Censorship!

President Donald Trump announced that he will sign an executive order on social media on Thursday, May 28, the White House said.

The White House press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, said on Wednesday that she could not get ahead of the president to explain the purpose and intent of the order, but confirmed that it would be coming.

Donald Trump has accused social media platforms of silencing conservative voices, and even went as far as to warn social media executives that the federal government could 'strongly regulate' or 'close them down' if they continue to do so.

All of this comes after on Tuesday, May 26, Twitter put a warning label on one of Trump's tweets referring to mail-in ballots, warning people that despite the presidents' claims, 'fact checkers' say there is 'no evidence' that mail-in voting would increase fraud risks and that 'experts say mail-in ballots are very rarely linked to voter fraud.'

Just minutes after Twitter put the warning label on The President's tweets, Donald Trump accused Twitter of 'interfering in the 2020 Presidential Election based on fact checking by FAKE NEWS CNN and the Amazon Washington Post.' He then went on to say that Twitter is 'completely stifling FREE SPEECH,' and vowed that 'I, as President, will not allow that to happen.'
